The European Commission – DG Competition cleared an acquisition by PKN Orlen S.A. of Energa S.A. in the markets for (i) the generation and wholesale supply of electricity, (ii) balancing and ancillary services, (iii) the generation, transmission, distribution and supply of heat on a district heating network, (iv) non-retail sales of fuel products and (v) industrial lubricants.
