The Polish Office for Competition and Consumer Protection cleared an acquisition by PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. of PKPE Holding Sp. z o.o. in the markets for (i) the wholesale electricity trade, (ii) the generation and marketing of electricity, (iii) the retail electricity trade, (iv) the production, sale and distribution of heat, (v) the distribution of gas, and (vi) the purchase of electricity generated from renewable energy sources.
