Marco Botta is an external advisor for Caselex. He has been working as post-doc researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich (Germany) since October 2016. He previously worked as Assistant Professor at the Institute for European Integration Research of the University of Vienna (2011-2016).

In March 2010, Dr. Botta defended his doctoral thesis in the Law Department of the European University Institute(EUI), which was later published as monograph by Kluwer Law International. In addition, he holds a bachelor degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Turin (Italy) and LL.M. in European Business Law from the Law Faculty of Leiden University (the Netherlands).
