Marta has been with Caselex since September 2020, initially as an editorial intern, now as a national editor. Marta holds a Master’s degree in law (specialised in EU law) from the University of Warsaw and an LL.M in European Competition Law and Regulation from the University of Amsterdam. During her studies, she also spent one year at the University of Maastricht. She is currently a PhD Candidate in Law at the Centre for Antitrust and Regulatory Studies at the University of Warsaw. Her research explores the role of competition law in protecting media freedom and pluralism.
She specialises in EU, competition and consumer protection law. She gained legal experience during internships in competition law departments of Allen & Overy and Linklaters in Warsaw (2019-2020) and during her Blue Book traineeship in DG Competition, G.4 Cartels Unit of the European Commission (2021-2022).

Mari is a national editor for Caselex, covering decisions from Kilpailu- ja Kuluttajavirasto in Finland.
Mari is a candidate on the Bachelor of Civil Law programme (postgraduate taught) at the University of Oxford, due to graduate in July 2021. She has obtained a first-class honours degree in law from Queen Mary University of London in 2020. Alongside her studies, she has worked as a research assistant and pro bono case assistant. In 2021, she participated in the European Commission’s writing contest concerning competition law and the Green Deal, which was shortlisted for publication in the Commission’s special brief.
